Getting Back To What I Need To Do

Been going through a lot lately, and it's been a while since I posted something here... So I guess it's finally time to get back into this thang! I've had my share of ups and downs since my last post. These past couple of months have been an emotional roller coaster in itself. I recently lost my car to a stupid accident, bills piling up, been going through a slight depression of constant 9-5 work, haven't been able to tackle music the way I used to, and future desires that have become further out of my reach...But when things are looking down, the only way to look is up right? So that's where my head is now, I can't be held down for too long! Within a week and a half of that accident I got a newer, better whip. Money finally came in to pay off my past loan this week. My 9-5 has become less stressful because I stepped up to lot let it bring me down. Bills are still hitting me and my desires are still a bit further out of my reach, but I'm more focused on what I need to do to achieve my goals! Most of the time you can't help where you are at the time, but it's up to you how long you stay there... As for the music, I's slowly getting back into it... I recently hopped on a track with my C.I.E. members Dynamic Duo for their new project dropping soon, look out for it! I won't apologize for my absence from the music scene, because we all have our moments of soul searching. But I do hope that my fans and friends forgive me for taking the time to do what I need to do, and thank you in advance for being understanding.
As for my current endeavors, I've been doing a weekly radio show, Best Kept Secret, on OWWR every Friday from 8-10pm. The show is with my Co-Host Lady Rae, playing your throwback songs and a focus on independent artists as well. I finally just updated the blog up-to-date tonight! Check out the Best Kept Secret Blog and leave some love!

I Got A Rapper In The Trunk! Huuuuuuuuuuuuh!!!

I've been busy the past two weeks! Last week I finished the cover for Padded Walls Entertainment's new mixtape they decided to title 'Rapper In The Trunk.' I also recreated the Padded Walls Entertainment logo to put on the mixtape. The mixtape has two different colors, but each one has the same crazy song list! The mixtape is filled with bangers. And like I mentioned ya boy is also the mixtape. I'm on the third verse of the track called "Tires Bounce" with Great One, and my artist Dizzy D. Though it's finished, a release date is still in the works. Regardless when it comes out, the mixtape is crazy! Make sure you support the Gunpoint team! Also with the mixtape, a video had begun shooting for the first song on the mixtape, "Guns and Dollaz" by Tanna and P.P.V.. I have a video up on my YouTube channel and there's also one on Gunpoint artist, Lana Love's YouTube channel with her "Work It" video which features some behind the scenes of the video shoot. Video scenes were looking good so far. I've also been working with Lana Love on a song called "Spanglish Ish" for her album project. Look out for "Swaggin' My Drink" as well. Been working with Gunpoint and Padded Walls pretty closely for a while.
As far as my projects, I've extended "Think About You (La La La)" into two final versions. The rerecorded original version with my cousin India for 'Like A Star Without Being Famous' and a version with Manny Rebel of Gunpoint for my 'Boy Scout' project with Padded Walls Entertainment. There may also be a third version in the works with Lady Rae too. I went into work with my artists. Dizzy D and Dullah (Dynamic Duo) with a song we brought back called "Last Stand" which was intended for 'Lyrical Diary: Book II.' The song also features my friend Lady Rae on the hook. It's undecided if the song will appear on either 'Street Glow' or 'Like A Star Without Being Famous.' Mr. DelGaizo has also sent me another beat that should make it's way to 'Like A Star Without Being Famous.' I wrote a hook to it the other night and just working on the rest. More to come from Young A soon! Keep on the lookout... And don't forget to check out the music pages already up!

You're An A******

Still putting in work on the music! "Only One Thing," one of the tracks I mentioned last week, is quickly climbing the charts on SoundClick.com! So far it has peeked at #453 in Hip Hop, with nearly 1.8 million songs listed in that category! Shout out to Drama Family's Young Bro and Yung Zeus, def did work on that record. If you haven't heard it yet, you're missing out! You can find "Only One Thing" on SoundClick.com and search up artist Yung Zeus. It's also out on HotNewHipHop.com, just search up Aycee or YungZeus! Def should check that out soon.
The party mixtape is also still in the works. We still have to get together more on the subject, but I'm hoping to make this party mixtape a joint venture between my label, Certified Ice Entertainment (C.I.E.), and Great-One's Too Much Fun Club (TMFC). If so, it should be an exciting collaboration showcasing both groups talents, with possible appearances from other artists. Hopefully I'll have more info on that next week.
Now, on to progress on my mixtape, and work is coming along well! My producer hit me up with a couple more beats over this past week. One of the tracks currently being worked on is called "Asshole." The track's kinda about a dark part of my life, that I hope a lot of people will be able to relate to. The beat is sick, and I aim to deliver on the same level with the vocals. Not sure if their will be a feature on this track yet. Song should definitely be on the mixtape, which should be dropping late Summer, early Fall.
Check out "Only One Thing!" And if you haven't 'liked' Certified Ice Entertainment on Facebook, or 'liked' or became a fan of Aycee on Reverbnation.com, do it ASAP!!!
More music coming soon!!!

I'm Still On It!

Finally got back into serious production on the music side of things!
Finally met up with producers friend and music artist, Great-One, earlier in the week. Heard so much good music from this man that I was hype to finally meet him face to face. We finally came together (Pause) on joint that we call "Bounce." It's a collaboration with my fellow producer and C.I.E. artist, Dizzy D, and Great-One as well. It's a nice little party joint for ya'll to jam out to. Track is fire! Just so you know, hah! "Bounce" will most likely be featured on Great-One's mixtape "Hurt Feelings." It should be also be on the mixtape "Gun Point or Nothin'" from the Gun Point Mobb music group. And of course it'll most likely make the cut for "Like A Star Without Being Famous," But still got more to get done on it...
Also doing a collaboration with my Upstate NY homies, Drama Family. Tracks called "Only One Thing," with Young Bro and Yung Zeus featuring ya boy A-Y! Their project should be coming out later this month.
Back to "Like A Star Without Being Famous," I'm getting back into serious mode! Got my homie Mr. Del Gaizo dropping off beats to me along with my official producer. Getting back together with my C.I.E. artists to drop some crazy hits. Got to work on a couple tracks this weekend, and hope to do more by the time the week is over. Aycee is back and I ain't going no where!!!
So listen out for "Bounce"- Great-One, Dizzy D & Aycee and "Only One Thing"- Young Bro & Yung Zeus featuring Aycee. They'll be dropping pretty soon!

My Kingdom Awaits!

The kid is back in New York after a 9 month hiatus in sunny Florida! Shout outs to all the people I met through the Disney College Program, and thanks for showing me such a good time out there! Made a couple of new fans and gained some new support for this future project I've been trying to work on for the longest...
And also once again thanks to those who listened to, and even bigger thanks to those who downloaded my sample mixtape, "Like A Star Without Being Famous (Valentine's Day Edition)." The Valentine's Day mixtape is still available on DatPiff.com and HotNewHipHop.com, just search for "Aycee."
So now that I'm back in NY, I can finally get back to this mixtape business and, more importantly, back on my Certified Ice Entertainment business! I'm so excited to get back into this project. I got my executive producer Dizzy D on the project, along with my homie Mr. Delgaizo doing some featured work as well. Unfortunately I have to start the project from scratch now because of a hard drive malfunction is my absence. So it's gonna take longer than anticipated to get it done. But I guess everything happens for a reason. Hopefully I should have this project done by the end of the summer.
Thank you to my fans who continue to stick by me! I plan not to disappoint!

I'm Back!!!

What up?!?! I'm back on the blogging now! I've been slacking for a while, but now I'm gonna work harder to do posts at least once a week... I've been working down in Florida at Walt Disney World since August, which has left me with not too much time for music purposes, and no way to record brand new music... But with that said, I do have some updates for you guys! On February 1st I released my first mixtape! No, it's not the full "Like A Star Without Being Famous," but more of a preview edition for Valentines Day. It has 7 songs which are mostly never before heard tracks. Best one of course is My Valentine, and I've been getting a lot of good feedback from Just One Night (Remix)... You can download "Like A Star Without Being Famous" (Valentines Day Edition) for FREE at DatPiff.com or HotNewHipHop.com... Some songs are also available for listening at YouTube.com and Myspace.com... I also just set up a new music site at Reverbnation.com and I need fans on that site... Check out the sites, listen and DOWNLOAD the mixtape, and let me know what you think about the music... Need to know what the fans like so I can continue to give you the music you love... "Like A Star Without Being Famous" the full mixtape is still in progress and planning to complete and release it this Summer/Fall when I get home from working at Walt Disney World this May... And to all my loyal fans, Thanks for sticking with me! New music coming soon!!!
