Life Through My Galaxy Opening

          Soooo I've been working on this opening project for quite a while. I Finally finished it before I went on vacation the beginning of the month, but it was also kind of rushed near to end of finishing it. I think it came out pretty good for what I was able to do and my videography knowledge.
          This is just the first opening. I plan on shooting more videos with friends and making episodes out of them. This is the first season I guess, lol. I have no idea where I'm actually going with this, but at least it's a step in some direction. My hope is to refine what I'm doing as I go along. Let's see how this all works out.

Gotta Stop Meeting Like This

I feel like it's every month or two, or even longer, that I give you guys updates on the things going on with myself and the CIE camp. Guess I'm not the blogger and worker I used to be... -__- Nonetheles, I'm still working at getting to that point again!

As for a CIE update, our artist Dullah has finally returned to the roster!!! Moved back to the magic number of 3 that's we've usually maintained within the group. We still need a singer to bring some other ideas to life that Dizzy D and myself have envisioned. But it's no problem, we'll get there soon!

Now for the music update. I just released another remix with may make the cut for one of my Mixtapes dropping later this year! The track is a remix of Rick Ross' Thug Cry. It's one of the realist tracks I've written in a while. Gotten good praise from it so far! The song single handedly launched me 9 spots up to number 8 on my Reverbnation chart!!! And then jumped up again to the number 5 spot!!! If you haven't heard the track yet, you need to get on it, cause you're missing out!!! You can find it on my Hot New Hip Hop page as well. On a Group note, with Dullahs return, the Dynamic Duos (Dizzy D and Dullah) album project has been brought back to life! We're also closer to completing Lyrical Diary: The Mixtape!

A lot of things in the works this year. Keep a look out for them! Or just wait for me to tell you, whichever you prefer.

Ay fam, it's been a while since I last checked in.
Last year was a rough year for me, physically and mentally. It's been years of pressure that finally caught up to me. Instead of embracing change, I fought it. Left me with a broken down year. I lost sight of everything: my visions, my goals, and most importantly, myself.
Realizing my mistakes, I've taken the opportunity this new year to focus on rebuilding myself, and not dwelling on my past self. Rebuilding myself back up to the strength I had, but adapting to a new me, hence the movement #TheRebuild. Taking new avenues to my goals.
I'm also proud so bring you some new music!!! 'Ghosts,' produced by my main man Joey D with Joey D Productions, is my first single of 2014. It shows a little bit of my struggles through 2013... It's up on my Reverbnation, Hot New Hip Hop, and SoundCloud pages. Just check the links to the right.

#TheRebuild

Change...

Change... It's something most of us think we embrace, but do we really? For those who still keep up with me see I haven't had much new material like I thought I would. I feel like I've been chasing the feeling and level I once had years ago. Trying to bring that progress back to today. But the thing is, that was the past. I've evolved since then, but not grasping that I've "changed." Thinking I'm still the same, but somehow looking for myself. Makes no sense right? I'm just realizing that now, hah.
I've been afraid to let go of things, thinking that that's what's holding me together. But in reality, it's what holding me back. The saying "the past is the past," is a contradictory statement to me. It's true, what has happened has taken place and can't be changed, so it's best to make peace with it. But at the same time, those choices, those mistakes, those actions or inactions have made us who we are today. So how can you forget the reasons you are the person are?
Today, I finally see my next step I need to take. Letting my past go. Remembering the things that have made me me, while realizing that new things need to fall into place.
Again, for my fans who have still stuck with me, I cannot continue to express my gratitude. My producer is on my ass (pause) to work on this song and I intend to finish it this weekend. Stay tuned for new C.I.E. material! #LyricalDiaryBookII #LikeAStarWithoutBeingfamous

     Haven't really posted much recently since I got my equipment. I've just had a lot on my mind and haven't been able to focus lately. It's been a little troubling trying to get some projects and plans done, but nonetheless I'm still working towards the bigger picture. Finished a couple more songs in these past weeks bringing my mixtape song count up. Will probably be releasing the second single from the new mixtape soon so keep an eye out for that.
     Dizzy D and I are still working on Lyrical Diary: Book II as well. Hopefully we'll have that project drop by this fall.
     Again, I apologize for my lack of posts. I'll be working harder to keep things updated with what's going on. And for those who follow up, I really appreciate the support.

I'm Ready!

Finally! After years of waiting for my own equipment, I finally got it! Two more songs finished. Working on a third tomorrow. Job gave me three days off, might as well use them effectively.
